At the present moment there are 13 different cashback cards that are being sold in the credit card market of the United Kingdom and these cards are being issued by some of the top credit card providers in the country.

American Express Platinum
The cardholders of American Express Platinum receive 5% cash back. This offer is applicable for a period of three months and after this period the cardholders receive cash back of, up to, 1.5%. The typical annual percentage rate purchases is 18.9%.

Barclaycard Cashback
Barclaycard Cashback provides its cardholders with 4% cashback. The offer is supposed to last till the 31st of July, 2008. There is a cashback offer of .5% till the 1st of January, 2010. The typical annual percentage rate purchases is 15.9%.

Shell MasterCard – Citi
The Shell MasterCard – Citi provides its holders with 3% rebate on expenses made on the fuel products of Shell. The cardholders also receive 1% cash back on all the other purchases made by them with the card. The annual percentage rate purchases of the card is 16.9%.

Capital One Cashback
The cardholders of Capital One Cashback receive 2% cashback in case of expenses made between the one thousand and two thousand pounds region within a particular statement period. The typical annual percentage rate purchases of these cards is 9.9%.

Egg Money
The cardholders of Egg Money receive 1% cash back on all the purchases made by them with the card. The typical annual percentage rate purchases of these cards is 9.9%.

Norwich and Peterborough BS
Norwich and Peterborough provides .5% cash back for expenses made within the range of 11,999 pounds with the card. In cases of expenses worth 25 thousand pounds the cash back provided is 1%. The typical annual percentage rate purchases of these cards is 14.9%.

There are two types of smile classic cards – the regular ones and the ones meant for current account holders with smile. In case of the current account holders the holders of smile classic receive .5% cash back on every purchase made by them with the card. The typical annual percentage rate purchases of these cards is 16.9%. In case of the regular cards the cash back terms and conditions are the same but the typical annual percentage rate purchases is 20.9%.

Bank of Ireland MoneyBack Gold
The holders of Bank of Ireland MoneyBack Gold receive .5% cashback. The uppermost retail spending limit is 15 thousand pounds in a particular year. The typical annual percentage rate purchases is 16.9%.

Leeds BS
Leeds BS provides .5% cash back up till a certain credit limit. The typical annual percentage rate purchases is 17.9%.
