Sony MasterCard Payment Online: Security Tips

Security is the greatest concern when it comes to making credit card payments online.

One of the most troubling security issues is the possibility of identity theft. You may not even be aware that you have become a victim of identity theft. You can lower your chances of falling victim by paying close attention to all your credit card statements and other financial records.

If you do not receive a banking or credit card statement on schedule, contact the issuer immediately. If you do become a victim:

  • Report to the bank and credit reporting agencies.
  • Perform a follow-up check after three months to ensure that your identity has not been used again.
