RBC Credit Card Payment Online: Steps

You can pay RBC Credit Card dues onlinethrough two methods:

  • By using the "Transfer funds" function.
  • Through the "Pay bills" function. To use this function, you need to register BankCard Services as a "Biller."

However, before you can pay bills through any of the functions, you will need to enroll in the Online Bill Pay facility. You can enroll in this facility:
  • At the time of registering for the Online Banking service using the Online Self Enrollment service.
  • If you are already enrolled in online banking but you had not opted for bill pay at that time, log into Online Banking. Click on the “Enroll in Bill Pay” link under Self Service.

Steps to register the BankCard Services as the Biller (Payee):

  • Visit http://www.rbc.com/canada.html.
  • Click the “Sign In” button on the left pane of the screen to log into Online Banking.
  • Select the "Pay Bills & Transfer Funds" link in the Banking menu.
  • Click the "Create/update payee list" link in the Self Service menu.
  • Click the "Add a new payee" link in the Self Service menu.
  • Type the payee’s name (such as Royal Bank) and click the Search button.
  • The search shows a list of payees related to your query. Select the relevant RBC credit card by clicking on the radio button.
  • Enter the payee account number and click Continue.

You can pay several bills within two business days through your Online Banking account. You can check the earliest available payment date by clicking the payment calendar.
