Issued by Citibank, the Petro Canada credit card helps users to benefit from any purchases they make at any retail locations of Petro Canada, which is one of the country’s largest oil and gas producers. This PetroCanada Card is accepted at more than 1,400 car repair centers of Certigard and at other retail locations across the country.

You can use the Petro Canada credit card to pay for any products and services that can be purchased at Petro-Canada’s pumps or in-stores.

Petro Canada Credit Card: Points

When you own a Petro Canada credit card, you can earn points whenever you use it as listed below:

  • Get Petro-Points for every dollar spent at Petro-Canada and get rewards.
  • Collect 1,000 bonus points on each of the first ten purchases made with your new Personal Credit Card.
  • Earn 2,500 Petro-Points if you are registered at My Petro-Canada, the online account for cardholders.
  • Collect 20 points per dollar on purchases made at the company’s convenience store.
  • Collect bonus points from Petro-Canada’s convenience stores on products such as:
    • Earn 1,000 bonus Petro-Points when you buy Amp & Rockstar Energy Drink.
    • Get 600 bonus points on buying 710 ml of Montclair Water.
    • Collect 400 bonus points when you buy Musketeers, KitKat or Caramilk chocolate bars.

Petro Canada Credit Card: Point Redemption

You can redeem your Petro-Points at any participating Petro-Canada location. Factors to consider when redeeming:

  • Redeem 15,000 Petro-Points for Fuel Savings Reward. With this reward, you can save 5¢ per liters instantly on the next 200 liters of fuel you buy at Petro-Canada.
  • After using 200 liters of savings on the card, redeem 14,000 Petro-Points through the Internet to save 5¢ per liters on your next 200 liters of fuel. Moreover, you would be saving on 1,000 points when you reload your card online.

Other additional benefits of using a Petro-Canada credit card are:

  • Receive emails for exclusive offers and upcoming bonus opportunities at any of the Petro-Canada stores.
  • Get additional cards for family members free of cost.
  • Get CitiIdentity Theft Solutions at no extra cost.
