National Bank of Canada Credit Card Payment Online: What You Should Have?

 
Before you can disburse your National Bank of Canada credit card payments online, you need to register for the bank’s Internet Banking service. For registration, you need:
  • A bank account at National Bank of Canada.
  • Your client card, which could be your debit card. If you do not have one, you can obtain it from your branch.
  • A browser with 128-bit encryption.
 
 

National Bank of Canada Credit Card Payment Online: Steps

 

The steps to make online payments using your National Bank of Canada credit card:

·        Visit http://www.nbc.ca/bnc/cda/index/0,4229,divId-2_langId-1_navCode-1000,00.html.
·        Click on the Open Session link on the left pane of the screen.
·        If you have not registered for the Internet Banking solutions, click on the Sign Up Now button.
·        Type in the information regarding your client card number, bank account number, password and personal details. Also, read the bank’s user agreement thoroughly. Click the “I acknowledge that I have read and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the above-mentioned agreement” checkbox and then the Submit button.
·        Once you are registered, open your session by typing your client card or MasterCard number and password.

·        Click the Continue button.
·        Click on Continue to consolidate your account information.
·        Click on the Bills menu option on the left pane of the screen.
·        Click the Pay option.
·        The screen displays the bills registered with the Internet Banking solutions.
·        You can add or delete and modify existing bills through this screen.
·        To pay for a specific bill, enter the bill number, amount processing date and payment frequency. For a postdated payment, specify a later date.
·        Select the account from which you want to make the payment and validate your e-mail address.
·        Click the Continue button to complete your transaction.
 
You can also pay your bills online by using the Payment console. You can pay bills from more than 4,500 suppliers.
