Citibank cardholders are entitled to a 25-days grace period from the current statement of accounts date for making a payment towards the card. The Citi Clear Card will be suspended temporarily if the cardholder fails to make at least the minimum payment before the due date, which will be lifted only after one business day of processing the payment. Citi Clear Card Payment Online: Options 

Online payments towards the Citi Clear Card can be made through:

Citibank Online: Inbound Funds Transfer (IFT)

This service enables you to make payments towards the Citi Clear credit card from a nominated bank/financial institution where the cardholder holds a savings or checking account. For setting up an inbound funds transfer, a cardholder is required to download the IFT application form, fill it with respect to credit card and nominated account details and mail it to the Citibank address given on the form.

Some features of the inbound funds transfer service are:

  • Minimum amount of funds transfer: $10
  • Maximum amount of funds transfer: $20,000
  • Payment processing period: 3 days
  • Insufficient fund charges: $25 

Moreover, the IFT service on the Citi Clear credit card is free of charge.

Interbank Giro Service

Citi Clear credit card holders can also set up monthly settlement of statements of account through the time-saving Citibank Interbank Giro services. This facility enables scheduling monthly payments towards the Citi Clear card from a savings/current account with Citibank or any other bank. Besides these online methods, payments towards Citi Clear card can also be made through AXS stations, 24-hour Citi Clear card banking centers and by mailing a check to the Citibank office.

Finally, keep in mind that Citibank cardholders are entitled to up to an interest-free repayment period of 55 days, provided they make payments in full before the due date. In case payments are not made in full, the interest will be calculated on the current balance on a daily basis, including on every new transaction. Therefore, it is advisable to select the full balance payment option while making Citi Clear card payment online.
