Aussie MasterCard Payment Online

An Aussie MasterCard holder is required to repay at least 2% of the amount outstanding or $10 (whichever is higher) every month, for uninterrupted credit card services. A cardholder can make payments towards the credit card in-person or through checks. However, making these payments online is the most convenient alternative.

Aussie MasterCard Payment Online: Options

One can make online payments on an Aussie MasterCard through:
CardPay Direct
This is a direct debit service, which requires nominating a transaction account from which the amount will be debited. It offers great payment flexibility, as one can select the following payment options:
  • Only the minimum monthly payment, enabling high credit flexibility.
  • A fixed amount, helping to plan savings in the nominated account most effectively.
  • Total outstanding amount each month, facilitating debt reduction.

For setting up the CardPay Direct service, log on to the official Aussie MasterCard website, aussie.com.au/credit-card/ and click on ‘Make a Payment’ link under the ‘Using your Card’ option. From the new page, download the ‘CardPay Direct’ PDF form.

Fill up the form, by selecting the requisite payment option and furnishing details of the nominated account, and post it to the ABN address given in the form.

Although setting up CardPay Direct takes some time, it is a onetime procedure. Also, not all financial institutions allow setting up direct debit. Therefore, confirm with your bank before proceeding with the same.

BPAY
The BPAY service allows transferring funds from a checking or savings account to Aussie MasterCard. This service can be set up online or through phone by contacting the nominated bank. A cardholder is required to furnish his/her Aussie MasterCard number, which becomes the reference number and the Aussie MasterCard biller code.

Finally, keep in mind that a late payment on Aussie MasterCard results in a late fee of $35. Aussie MasterCard payment online not only helps to avoid late fees and charges, but also facilitates interest-free credit purchase periods. Bear in mind that a cardholder is only eligible for interest-free periods when a statement balance in paid in full before the due date.
