Singapore gold credit card


Singapore gold credit cards are privileged cards and their holders are entitled to numerous facilities in super deluxe hotels, choicest restaurants, retail outlets, and entertainment centers. These privileged credit cards in Singapore are issued by DBS Bank Limited, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, United Oversea Bank Limited, HSBC and Citibank.

A selected collection of gold credit cards offered by Singapore banks are:

1. DBS Bank Limited – DBS Bank issues DBS Visa and DBS MasterCard gold credit cards which come with a number of features and benefits. Gold credit card holders are entitled to a comprehensive insurance cover of Singapore $350,000. Gold card holders earn 1 DBS reward point for each $5 spent on the card. The annual fee for one year is waived off on the principal card and the first supplementary card.

2. OCBC Limited – OCBC Ltd., issues OCBC-NTU Visa gold card specifically created for graduates of Nanyang Technological University, Institute of Education and College of Physical Education, and National Institute of Education Teachers Training College.

3. UOB Limited – UOB Limited offers UOB MasterCard gold and Metro-UOB gold credit cards. UOB MasterCard gold credit card holders enjoy the facility of interest-free installment payment up to 6 months. For every $250 spend on buying air tickets from Singapore Airlines, a UOB MasterCard gold card holder is awarded 500 flying miles.

4. HSBC – HSBC issues Visa and MasterCard gold credit cards. These credit cards come with two year waiver of annual charges, free supplementary gold credit cards, and discounts at Caltex gasoline refilling stations. The holders also enjoy exclusive privileges at selected retail outlets, and entertainment centers.
