Geico Credit Card Payment Online: Registration Process
For making online payments using your Geico credit card:
Log on to www.geicocreditcard.com and furnish your username and password in the relevant space. Click on ‘Submit’ to access your online account and make payments.
If you are a new user, click on the ‘Enroll’ icon. For successful registration, you will be required to supply the following information:
- Your name as it appears on your Geico credit card
- Your Geico credit card number
- The expiration date of your card
- Your social security number
- Your mother’s maiden name
- Your email address
- CVV number (an anti-fraud feature) given on the back of your Geico credit card
You will also be required to create a user ID and password. After you have successfully created an ID, login to your account and select the ‘Online Bill Pay’ option.
Geico Credit Card Payment Online: Process
To advance online payments on your Geico credit card, you will have to set up a ‘Payment Account’ by linking the payments to a checking or savings account. For this, you will have to submit your checking/savings account number and your routing/transit number.
The ‘Online Bill Pay’ service redirects your online payment and banking information to a secured server. Your bank receives the online payment information electronically on your specified payment date, after thorough verification.
Once you have furnished your banking information, you needn’t reenter it for subsequent payments. You can also set up multiple Payment Accounts and assign a nickname to your Payment Account for easy reference.
Geico Credit Card Payment Online: Types
You can consider the following payment alternatives from your Geico online account:
- One-Time Payment: Select ‘make one-time payment’ from the ‘Online Bill Pay’ screen. Choose your requisite ‘Payment Account’ from the dropdown box. Enter your desired payment date and amount and click on ‘Continue.’
- Recurring Payments: Choose ‘Set up Recurring Payments’ from the ‘Online Bill Pay’ screen. Choose the desired Payment Account and enter the payment amount. Select a payment due date on which all recurring payments get posted each month. You can also schedule a ‘Stop Date’ for Recurring Payments. Click on ‘Continue’ to disburse payment.
You can also easily discontinue your Geico credit card online account. For this, simply click on ‘Disable Online Access’ from the ‘Customer Assistance’ menu.
