It is necessary to have a PayPal account for managing your online eBay credit card account as well as making payments on it. If you already have an existing account, you will not have to use a separate login. Simply log on to www.mastercard.ebay.com and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on the green ‘Apply Now’ icon. Once you are directed to the new page, furnish your email ID and password in the ‘Log in to PayPal’ box.

If you do not have a PayPal account, click on the ‘Create a PayPal account and apply for the eBay MasterCard’ link below the login box. For registering with PayPal, you will have to furnish the following basic information:

  • Name
  • Address details, including zip code
  • Contact details such as email address, fixed-line and cell phone numbers
  • PayPal password (over eight characters) of your choice
  • Two security questions (for password recovery), from the dropdown menu, along with answers

Once you have provided the necessary details, click on ‘Agree and Continue.’ After you verify and submit all the relevant details, your PayPal account will be activated.

eBay Card Credit Card Payment Online Through PayPal

To make online payments using your eBay credit card, go back to the login page and enter your email ID and password. When you are directed to the PayPal page, click on the ‘Make a Payment’ link on the ‘Credit Activity’ section. For disbursing the payment, you will have to link your eBay credit card to a savings or checking account. Enter the requisite payment amount and authorize the transaction.
