Members of state assembly are thinking of instituting a NJ tax relief program that would be applicable for property taxes. It is being proposed by assembly members that credits of tax of New Jersey would now be provided in place of checks of rebates of tax in New Jersey.

This proposal of tax at New Jersey has been put forward by John Burzichelli who is a member of state assembly and Democrat Party from Thorofare. This New Jersey tax proposal would do away with rebate checks of taxes that are sent to tax payers by way of e-mails. As per his proposal a New Jersey tax credit system would come in place whereby tax payers would receive direct credits of bills of property taxes that they are supposed to receive.

At present financial worth of New Jersey tax imposed on properties is $7,000. This is maximum as far as USA is concerned. These New Jersey tax rebates have been provided in this state since 1976 fiscal.

These New Jersey tax rebates had been brought about in order to provide financial assistance to citizens of advanced age. These discounts were also intended to help homeowners who had physical or mental disability of some sort as well as those workers who had least amount of financial abilities to pay taxes.

Burzichelli has said that there is plenty of discrepancy as far as New Jersey tax bills and tax rebate checks are concerned. These discrepancies are main reasons behind introduction of present tax proposal. He has said that tax bills are relatively on higher side.

Burzichelli has also reiterated that another aim behind introduction of present New Jersey tax proposal is fact that tax rebate checks are never acknowledged as assistance related to property taxes.

Present state budget has stated that New Jersey tax deductions in case of property taxes should be done away with in case of tax payers who are earning in excess of $150,000. These proposals have been doing rounds for some years now. As per this bill New Jersey tax bills have been categorized as private documents. This would mean that one tax payer cannot get access to tax bills of other tax payers.
