In spite of paying these taxes AIG Financial Products Corp has sued US government and prominent among its claims is provision of tax refund by IRS. A new tax refund from IRS has been introduced by Internal Revenue Service. This benefit is being provided to homeowners who are buying their residences for first time.

Aggregate financial worth of this tax benefit is $8,000 and it is expected that this would assist with a significant amount of tax refund of IRS. This benefit would be helping all kinds of tax payers by way of their reducing their debts as every dollar of this credit is worth a dollar of taxes owed.

This would mean that in case a tax payer owes debts worth $12,000 receiving this benefit would mean his debts would come down to $4,000. In case tax payers do not have any debts that sum would amount to an IRS tax refund.

There are some other ways to receive IRS tax refund quickly. If tax payers file their returns through internet they can receive their refund within a space of 10 days. This facility would be provided by way of direct deposit.

Homeowners who are in line for a significant sum of IRS tax refund can file for same within stipulated period within 2009 fiscal. However, they should procure this sum later on when tax refunds are amended.
