· O% APR: Discover Platinum Card comes with no APR charges for the first six months on balance transfers and purchases.
· Separate cards and longer grace period: The card does not attract any financial charges for the first 25 days and card holders are issued a different card number for online shopping for extra security.
Discover Platinum Card: Rebate Process
The Discover Platinum Card gets more benefits with more usage. It has a tiered cash back process that lets its users earn up to 2% rebate.
· For the first $1,500 spent annually, card holders get 0.25% rebate
· For the next $1,500 spent annually, card holders get 0.50% rebate
· For annual expenditure more than $3,000, card holders get 1% rebate[br]

The Discover Platinum Card has a rotating policy that offers 5% discount on different products and services through the year. The categories keep changing every quarter as follows:
- First quarter: Consumers get discounts on airlines, car rentals, hotels and cruises.
- Second quarter: Consumers get discounts at fashion and home retailers.
- Third quarter: Consumers get discounts at theme parks, gas stations and hotels.
- Fourth quarter: Consumers get discounts at grocery stores, movie theatres and restaurants.
