ANZ Credit Card Payment Online: Procedure

One can set up direct debit from a nominated checking account by following these steps:

  • Log on to anz.com/personal/ and select ‘Credit cards and debit cards’ from the main menu.

  • Click on ‘Existing ANZ cardholders’ from the menu on the left side of the screen and choose the ‘Make a payment on your card’ option in the new page. This can be found under the ‘How to’ section.

  • Select the first option in the new page and click on the ‘CardPay direct application form’ from the drop-down menu. This will open a PDF page, which should be downloaded, duly filled and posted to ANZ.

ANZ Credit Card Payment Online Application Form

The application form for an ANZ credit Card direct debit has three major sections:

  • Account details: The name of the bank or financial institution from which the payment will be debited is required, along with the account name and number.

  • Payment option: The preferred payment option is to be selected, which can be the minimum payment shown on the account statement, closing balance shown on the statement or a specific fixed amount. For making a fixed payment, fill the requisite amount, which should be at least $10.

  • Acknowledgement: The cardholder is required to furnish his/her signature (duly dated) as an indication of agreement with the ANZ direct debit terms and conditions.[br]

One can also cancel the ANZ credit card online payment service at any time. This can be done by completing the ‘CardPay direct cancellation authority form’ (which can be found on the same page as the application form) and mailing it to ANZ.

Besides the ANZ credit card online payment facility, ANZ also offers other sophisticated internet banking services. This includes the option to view your transaction history and track your account balance and reward points around-the-clock. You can also set up the BPAY option for paying various utilities. Moreover, ANZ internet banking transactions are backed by the ‘ANZ Internet Banking Guarantee,’ which provides compensation for unauthorized transactions up to $10,000.

ANZ Credit Card is issued by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) 2010 ABN 11 005 357 522. ANZ’s colour blue is a trade mark of ANZ.
