Anglo American

Anglo American Corporation was founded in the year 1917 by Sir Ernest Oppenheimer. Later in the year 1999 Anglo American plc was formed through the combination of Anglo American Corporation of South Africa (AACSA) and Minorco. Presently the company is a global leader in mining and natural resources, which includes platinum, gold, diamonds, coal, base metals, industrial minerals and paper and packaging.
