  • Acting as a state treasury agent
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of payment system
  • Managing an inter bank fund transfer system

The Bank is governed by a board, consisting of a Chairperson, two Deputy Chairpersons, and two members. The Chairperson is appointed for a term of five years while the Deputy Chairpersons and the members are appointed for a period of nine years.
