Tunisia Trade: Exports and Imports
Tunisia’s primary export commodities include clothing, semi-finished goods and textiles, agricultural products, mechanical goods, phosphates and chemicals, hydrocarbons, and electrical equipment to export partners; France (28.3%), Italy (17.9%), Germany (9.6%), Libya (5.8%) and Spain (5%).
Tunisia’s overall exports in 2010 were worth $13.39 billion, down from $19.22 billion in 2008.
Tunisia’s primary import commodities include textiles, machinery and equipment, hydrocarbons, chemicals and food from import partners France (21.5%), Italy (19.3%), Germany (9%), Libya (4.6)% and Spain (4.5%).
Tunisia’s overall imports in 2010 were worth $17.37 billion, down from $23.23 billion in 2008.
