Unilever Plc reported steady growth in the second quarter of 2025, driven by consumer enthusiasm for its new eco-friendly and sustainable product lines. The company recorded revenues of €17.5 billion, a 7% increase year-over-year, reflecting strong performances across personal care, home products, and foods.
The personal care segment, which includes brands like Dove and Love Beauty and Planet, grew 9%, driven by the introduction of biodegradable packaging and formulas free of harmful chemicals. Consumers increasingly prioritize sustainability, and Unilever’s innovation in this area has bolstered brand loyalty.
CEO Helena Morris emphasized the company’s focus on sustainability and innovation. “Our investments in circular packaging and carbon-neutral operations are not only good for the planet but are resonating with consumers worldwide,” Morris said during the earnings call.
Unilever’s food division also expanded with plant-based and organic product launches meeting growing consumer demand for healthier and more sustainable diets.
The company accelerated its digital transformation, enhancing online sales platforms and deploying AI-driven supply chain optimizations, improving delivery speed and reducing waste.
