OKX, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced a partnership deal with DappRadar. The partnership seeks to allow OKX users to access a wide range of decentralized finance (DeFi) and GameFi offerings on DappRadar.

OKX partners with DappRadar

DappRadar is a popular platform that is used for DApps. OKX will use the API offered by DappRadar to provide multiple decentralized applications to its users through the DApp Discovery Tool provided by the exchange.

Through this partnership, the OKX Web3 wallet will also be available on DappRadar. This will allow UKX users to access their decentralized wallets when exploring the Dapps easily. Having an easy way of accessing wallets within the DeFi and GameFi space will be convenient for OKX users.

The press release detailing the partnership further noted that the collaboration was just one of the first steps the two companies took to work together for the long term. The Global Chief Marketing Officer at OKX, Haider Rafique, noted that the OKX exchange wanted this partnership to improve user experiences and ensure DApps become more accessible.

“OKX is committed to giving our users the best Web3 experience, and making DApps more accessible underscores this. We’re excited to be working with DappRadar in broadening our customers’ DApp discovery and making app store and wallet interactions seamless,” Rafique added.

OKX seeks to expand its global presence

OKX has been taking measures to grow its global presence. The exchange secured a provisional virtual assets license in July 2022 from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, allowing the exchange to provide crypto services in Dubai.

Dubai has become a major crypto hub and has attracted some of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges. OKX’s presence in the country will allow the exchange to compete with some of the big names in the crypto sector.

OKX is also aggressively expanding its presence in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The exchange hired the former Chief Business Development Officer at EXMO, Maria Stankevich, as the new Director of Institutional Sales.

One of the marketing strategies that OKX is exploring to grow its global presence is through sports sponsorships. The exchange partnered with the British Formula One team McLaren Racing mid-this year. The multi-year partnership deal saw OKX becoming the official primary partner of McLaren Racing. As a result of this partnership, OKX will benefit from branding on the McLaren vehicles, driver outfits, and jerseys.

OKX also secured another partnership deal with Manchester City in July this year. The deal for the 2022-2023 season will have the OKX logo on the training outfits of the Manchester City men’s and women’s teams in the Premier League.
