The growth of the internet has led to the increasing democratisation of the current financial landscape. Now, individuals and companies can invest in assets and participate more freely in the financial markets. There has been a proliferation of platforms looking to provide easy access to assets and help investors to earn profits from their activities. These platforms have become increasingly competitive, offering a broad range of benefits in the hopes of cornering the market and retaining customers.

Axi has risen among the ranks of trading platforms, offering ease of use and an attractive suite of features that allows Qatari investors to access the markets easily. This Axi review will provide all the information prospective users require regarding the platform and its workings.

An Introduction to Axi

Axi is a trading solution that was launched in 2007. It was built by AxiCorp Financial Services Pty Ltd – an Australian-based financial services company that is licensed by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC). AxiCorp also has a London-based subsidiary which is licensed by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and it currently holds an operating license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).

Currently, Axi operates in over 50 regions of the world, including Qatar. It serves millions of customers, ranging from beginner traders to experienced market participants. By providing access to multiple asset classes and a healthy selection of currencies, Axi has carved a niche for itself in the financial services space.

QA Supported Assets

Although it began as a forex broker, Axi has expanded along with several of its top competitors.

Today, the trading platform offers access to trading in forex, indices, contracts for difference (CFDs), cryptocurrencies, and even precious metals. Qatari investors can access over 150 individual assets on Axi. While this isn’t the most expansive collection available, the platform has a great offering.

QA Account Types

Axi offers access to two major account types: the Standard and Pro accounts.

The Standard account on the platform comes with zero commissions on trades. The account also provides a minimum spread of 0.4 pips on trading positions. On the flip side, the Pro account charges $7 USD per round lot in commissions. Spreads on this account start at 0.0 pips on trades.

AxiTrader Demo Account

Cryptoassets are highly volatile unregulated investment products. Always consider the risk of loss before proceeding.

Traders can also access the Elite account: Axi’s VIP account for high-volume traders. According to Axi, the account incurs a commission of $3.5 USD per round lot and spreads starting from 0.0 pips. Axi also provides free access to analysis tools and its Virtual Private Server (VPS) for the account holders.

There are also Islamic accounts available on the platform. With these accounts, Axi takes away any swaps or interests, making it easy for Muslims who are unable to earn or pay interest due to their religious beliefs.

Platform Features

With Axi, users can access trading on the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) suite. The MT4 trading platform is available on all devices, allowing traders to easily enter and exit positions regardless of their device or operating system.

Traders can access MyFXBook and Axi’s PsyQuation platform to perform high-accuracy trades. The service provides its application program interfaces (API) so traders can integrate and use custom trading platforms.

Qatari investors who sign up on Axi can also access the following features:

PsyQuation

PsyQuation is one of Axi’s most impressive features. It provides signals and market insights for forex traders, easing the research work and helping traders access better market information.

PsyQuation Premium uses economic forecasting, quantitative analysis, and indicator research to provide quality information about the market. With it, traders have a relatively reliable research and signals provider at their fingertips. Also, it provides an Order Flow Sentiment Indicator, which its developers’ claim uses artificial intelligence to analyse daily performances.

Copy Trading

Copy trading has also become popular among traders who would like to mimic the moves of other successful traders. Axi offers AxiCopy – its in-house copy trading platform- allowing users to copy trades across different asset classes.

The use of copy trading on Axi will require a minimum deposit of $250 USD.

Access to Leverage

With leverage, users can “borrow” money from Axi to cover their positions and increase their chances of profitability. Axi offers up to 1:500 leverage, with Qatari users able to access the maximum leverage amount.

Demo Account

All trading platforms should have a demo account so that traders can test out their trading strategies and optimise them before deploying on live trading. Axi offers a demo account, offering users up to $50,000 USD in fake funds to trade with.

However, traders should note that the demo account only works for 30 days. Once this period is over, the account becomes inactive.

Guides and Trading Resources

Axi also has an expansive collection of research and education tools. Its primary educational offering is the Axi Academy, which provides courses and other content that are especially focused on shares, cryptocurrencies, forex, and precious metals.

Traders can also avail themselves of the Axi Blog, where AxiTarder and its users share content and market insights on different assets. In addition, materials like webinars and seminars, eBooks, and more are always available and regularly updated to help traders improve their knowledge of the markets in which they operate.

Axi Applicable Fees

Axi charges fees based on account types. Users of the Standard and Pro accounts can expect to pay the following:

Account Type Average Spread(EUR/USD) Round Turn Commission (USD)
Standard 1 pip 0
Pro 0.1 pip 7

As for non-trading fees,  there are no charges for deposits and withdrawals, and account opening and maintenance is also free.

However, the platform charges an inactivity fee. Set at 36.41 Rias, the inactivity fee kicks in once a trader has been inactive for a calendar year. And it is charged monthly.

QA Support

Axi provides customer support for everyone. The platform has an email support channel, a live chat feature, and toll-free numbers available for anyone to contact its support team if they need help. And customer support is available 24/5.

Axi Qatar: Conclusion

Axi has managed to carve a niche for itself among trading platforms. Its versatility with trading instruments and asset classes speaks well for it – especially in a world where most investors would like to diversify their portfolios.

Traders would also love the platform’s attractive fee structure and a suite of trading tools. With an easy-to-use interface, Axi is ideal for all traders in the market.

Cryptoassets are highly volatile unregulated investment products. Always consider the risk of loss before proceeding.
