European finance ministers kick off a two-day meeting in Brussels and will discuss a banking union for the region as well as negotiations on a near $1 trillion EU-wide budget for the next seven years. Greece can expect to get a political agreement Monday to receive its next aid tranche of 7.5 billion euros, while Cyprus will receive its first 3 billion euros in aid on the same day.

U.S. President Barack Obama will meet British Prime Minister David Cameron at the White House to discuss Syria and the G-8 summit next month. The two leaders are also expected to further trade and economic cooperation and counterterrorism measures.
