Garanti BBVA Introduces A New Biometric Card

Garanti BBVA, a Turkish financial services firm, has announced its plan to launch its Bonus Platinum Biometric Card. This card will enable customers to settle financial obligations securely by seamlessly scanning their fingerprints. The card will be accessible to customers soon, as revealed in a report.

Customers who wish to make payments can simply do so by placing the card close to the POS terminal’s contactless area after enabling fingerprint setup. Afterward, they can place their finger immediately on their card’s sensor to verify their fingerprint.

Users Can Request For A Biometric Card From BBVA Online

The transaction will be processed after a few seconds. There are no requirements for passwords unless users choose the option.

Those who are excited about the numerous Bonus Platinum Biometric Card benefits can request mobile banking channels, BBVA online, at bank branches, the BonusFlaş app, and by phoning the call center.

Murat Çağrı Süzer, Garanti BBVA Deputy General Manager, mentioned that the bank aims to simplify customers’ lives through pioneering products and services.

The firm has an innovator in the payment area, launching several novel solutions comprising Turkey’s first chip and Multi-label credit card. Other solutions include its initial eco-conscious card, contactless credit card, and the first transparent card.

Murat also said that by using the biometric Card, users won’t have to worry about slow payments. This is because they can make secure and quick payments just by scanning their fingerprint.

Moreover, users won’t go through the trouble of imputing their PINs or setting up contactless limits. By exploiting the possibilities of technology, Garanti BBVA will continue to provide innovative products and services to customers to help simplify their lives, he concluded his pronouncement.

In a different report, the Garanti BBVA has been given an operating license by the Turkish central bank. This license is for its novel innovative payments solutions platform subsidiary.
