Former Revolut UK CEO James Radford Now Leading Volopa

James Radford, who used to be the CEO of Revolut UK, is now the new Chief Executive Officer of Volopa. Volopa is a company that helps businesses with foreign exchange, international payments, and managing expenses. The company was launched by Quantum Group.

Radford will work with a strong management team to grow Volopa. The team became even stronger in 2023 when Volopa brought in the UK branch of the American Express FX team. The company said this will help them provide better services to their customers.

Volopa Plans To Expand And Get More Licenses

Volopa is part of Quantum Group, which also owns three other companies. These include Verve, a cashback and rewards platform, Valkyrie, a security consultancy, and Forensic Control, which focuses on cyber security.

The company revealed that Radford will also be a director at Quantum Group, where he will help with its plan to list on the London Stock Exchange in 2026. The company noted that this listing will help Quantum Group grow even bigger in the financial industry.

Volopa is the biggest part of Quantum Group when measured by revenue. The company is working to get e-money licences in the UK and Europe. It also wants to secure similar permissions in the Middle East and Africa. The company stated that these licences will help them serve more businesses around the world.

James Radford Brings Years Of Experience To Volopa

Radford has many years of experience in banking and finance. The company noted that he worked at American Express for over 15 years before taking on big roles at HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group. While at Lloyds, he handled banking operations for different business areas.

The firm said Radford has also work in fintech and other businesses to better their momentary services. He was the chief officer of the Aldermore Banks leading the cheque clearing business.

In the United Kingdom he had pioneered digital cheque imaging. He was also the CEO of Lycamobile before he later became a part of Volopa, he affirmed that his experience in this firm will help him carry volopa to a higher height.

The company made it clear that the number of its clients grew three times bigger in the 12th month leading to June 2024, the company is now signing up about 70 new customers every month. This improvement shows that more businesses are depending on volopa for their monetary needs.

Subscribers using volopa can transfers or send money from Europe to United Kingdom and to over 180 other countries. They provide pre- paid cards which allows different currencies, with these companies have found it very easy to manage employees finances.
