CFI Financial Partners With Sheffield United To Expand Investments Across Europe

Multi-asset brokerage company, CFI Financial Group, has expanded its investment across European football. The brokerage company has heavily invested in Middle East sports and is now looking to grow its brand in the European market by securing partnership deals with some of the largest sports clubs in the region.
CFI partners with Sheffield United
In 2022, CFI Financial Group, whose headquarters are in Dubai, secured a partnership deal with the current coach of Manchester City, Josep ‘Pep’ Guardiola. The deal revolved around Guardiola being the Global Brand Ambassador of the CFI Financial Group.
While speaking about this new partnership deal, CFI Financial Group said that it would be the Principal and the Official Financial Trading Partner of the football club. The partnership deal will run for the upcoming Premier League 2023/2024 seasons. The broker’s brand will also appear on the front-of-shirt of the players’ jerseys.
The co-founder and managing director at CFI Financial Group, Hisham Mansour, praised the football club, saying it had a rich history and football history. The executive noted that Sheffield was a hub of football, and the broker would play a significant role in commencing a new chapter in the club’s history.
“Sheffield United and the Premier League offer worldwide exposure for our business, and that is something we are very keen to embrace. We are proud to be the Principal Partner and Official Financial Trading Partner and hope this collaboration will be mutually beneficial,” Mansour said.
As part of this partnership deal, the football club, also known as the Blades, will play using CFI-branded shirts for the final pre-season fixture. The club will also play against VfB Stuttgart, a football club in the Bundesliga.

The head of commercials at Sheffield United, Paul Reeves, said that the team had worked hard on its partnership with CFI as it started its journey in the Premier League. Reeves said that having a global sponsor as the principal partner demonstrated the international appeal of the club on and off the pitch.
CFI’s expansion across the MENA region
CFI is one of the leading forex and contracts for difference (CFD) brokerage platforms with operations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It operates several subsidiaries across Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates. It also has other branches in Cyprus and the UK.
As part of a plan to grow the brand across the online trading industry, CFI has secured multiple sports sponsorship deals across the MENA region. In April, the company secured a new partnership deal with the Jordan Football Association to expand its presence in Jordan.
The brokerage platform also became a sponsor in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, a major event in the Middle East. Before CFI took over, the event was sponsored by Abu Dhabi in 2009. CFI was also the former sponsor of the Lebanese Basketball Federation and the national basketball team in Jordan.
