Capital.com has teamed up with Amazon to launch a special campaign in Dubai. The company plans to offer more than 500,000 special boxes to Amazon customers in the United Arab Emirates. Inside the boxes, people can find a chance to join a raffle and win AED 1 million. This prize is worth about $272,000.
Tarik Chebib, the Chief Executive Officer of Capital.com in the Middle East, stated that the partnership is the first of its kind for a brokerage in the region and will help promote their services.
Capital.com Becomes The First Brokerage To Work With Amazon In UAE
Chebib announced said Capital.com is excited to work with Amazon. He added that Amazon’s approval for this campaign is a notable step. The special boxes will only be given to customers in Dubai, tailoring this campaign to the city.
According to the update, Capital.com began advertising on Emirates Airlines during the fourth quarter of this year, marking an important step in the company’s strategy. These advertisements aim to increase awareness of Capital.com among a wider audience, including frequent travelers and business professionals.
Capital.com announced the partnership shortly after adding a new member to its marketing team. In July, Patricia Lyn Dixon, who worked with Amazon Adverts before, became the Global Head of Programmatic.
Dixon’s experience in programmatic solutions positions her as a key addition to Capital.com. She has worked with top companies like Magnite and Omnicom Media Group. At these jobs, she held important roles in programmatic advertising and operational management.
The company shared that Dixon’s skills will help improve their marketing and bring fresh ideas. By hiring her, Capital.com shows it wants to add experienced individuals to its team.
Capital.com Reports Growth In Trading Volume
According to the update, Capital.com saw a 20% increase in trading in the third part of 2024, compared to the second part. The trades added up to over $450 billion. By the end of the first nine months of 2024, the total amount was more than $1.2 trillion.
Over half of the trades (53%) came from indices. Capital.com said that trading in things like goods and foreign money was very popular. The number of trades went up by 19%, reaching 31 million. More people joined the platform, with new accounts increasing by 9%.
The partnership with Amazon shows that Capital.com is coming up with clever ways to reach more people. The raffle for AED 1 million will likely get a lot of attention from Amazon customers in Dubai.
As the branded boxes start arriving at people’s homes, many are excited to see what will happen with this campaign. With more people trading and a strong marketing team, Capital.com is ready to do even better in the future.
