Europe’s second largest neobank, Bunq, has enhanced its GenAI assistant, Finn, ensuring it is fully conversational. The fintech has also launched its Worldwide single-trip travel insurance, in collaboration with Qover, an embedded insurance provider.
Bunq Announces Over 12.5 Million Customers And €8 Billion In Deposits
The two pronouncements came at the time when Bunq announced that it saw robust growth in its platform. Its customers reached a significant number of over 12.5 million. Furthermore, deposits of funds are now more than €8 billion on its platform.
After the neobank successfully concluded its beta launch, Bunq reported that Finn represents the first AI-centric banking experience in Europe. It has already provided answers to more than 100,000 questions since December last year. Now, the AI assistant can answer many questions in a short time and offer comprehensive financial analysis at double the speed.
Finn continues to provide answers to all users’ questions concerning their spending habits and bank accounts. It can also suggest convenient places to explore or visit when traveling to a new location. These may include different bars, restaurants, cafes, and other places reviewed by bunq users.
The recent upgrade includes dynamic conversational capabilities that differentiate Finn from other chatbots. Apart from having natural conversations and remembering past chats with users, Finn will also be a part of the Bunq app, offering personalized and detailed answers.
Finn Solves 45% Of User Support Questions
Bung aims to effectively replace the search option in its app. It uses artificial intelligence to respond to user support questions. Finn single-handedly solves about 40% of user support questions and helps with 75% daily.
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of bunq, Ali Niknam, stated that the neobank uses the latest technology to improve the lives of its users. He shares excitement as many users embrace Finn and use the AI assistant for problem-solving in their daily lives. Users are set for a rewarding experience with the latest Finn update.
Bung has further advanced into travel insurance, highlighting a major step forward in building an all-inclusive neobank for worldwide digital nomads. International travel is experiencing rapid growth, reaching pre-pandemic levels with just less than 1.3 billion trips in 2023.
The neobank aims to tackle all challenges travelers face when reacquiring travel insurance for each trip. It now provides automatic worldwide coverage for those with the Easy Bank Pro XL plan.
Customers can easily turn on the feature once and secure coverage for all upcoming travels. Insurance can be requested in the app, through the link to Qover. Unlike various other travel insurance solutions, Bunq’s travel insurance offers a 1 million euro coverage for car rental and loss of personal items to users.
