eToro, the online trading and investment platform, has announced a new partnership with Generali, a well-known name in the French life insurance market.
The firm said this partnership will give its users in France access to two long-term savings options—a life insurance contract and a Plan d’Épargne Retraite (PER). The company added that these services are now offered through its new French branch, eToro Patrimoine.
The company said the new PER and life insurance contracts were created with Generali to meet the different needs and risk levels of everyday investors. These products will give users both managed and self-directed investment choices. The firm added that bringing together eToro’s digital tools and Generali’s insurance knowledge offers a strong option for long-term savings in France.
eToro Patrimoine Aims To Offer Savings Products Tailored For French Users
eToro said the launch of eToro Patrimoine shows its strong focus on growing in France, which it sees as an important market. The company revealed that the new branch will help provide savings products and services made for French users. It added that this step is an important way to offer more complete financial services to its customers.
Julien Nebenzahl, President of eToro Patrimoine, said these new products show the platform’s goal to help users build wealth over the long term. He said working with Generali strengthens the company’s offer of quality and flexible savings options. Nebenzahl added that this step shows a stronger focus on shaping its services to better support French users in their investing journey.
Generali, through its Patrimoine division, said it is excited about the partnership. The firm shared that it is excited to support a well-known investment platform like eToro as it grows in France. Corentin Favennec, Partnerships Director at Generali Patrimoine, said the digital format of the life insurance and PER products fits well with eToro’s business, making them easy to access for more customers.
eToro Allows Users To Pick Managed Portfolios Or Build Their Investment Mix
eToro revealed that users can choose from different managed portfolios based on their risk preferences. It said clients can create their investment mix by picking from more than 500 financial products. These options include euro funds, mutual funds, ETFs, stocks, and dated bond funds, giving users many ways to diversify their investments.
The company said this move comes after several other changes focused on French investors. It shared that last year, users with eToro Money EUR accounts were able to trade in local currency. The firm also widened access to French-listed stocks on Euronext Paris, offering more investment options on its platform.
In addition to investment access, eToro said it has improved banking-related services for French users. The company revealed that customers now benefit from a local French IBAN, enhancing convenience for deposits and withdrawals. It added that these enhancements are part of its broader plan to provide tailored financial services in France.
The partnership with Generali and the launch of savings products mark a key change for eToro in the region. The company said it wants to go beyond trading by providing fuller financial solutions. It added that the collaboration aims to give users in France digital tools and products to help them plan and protect their financial future.
