Corpay, Inc. has announced a new partnership with Everton FC, a major club in the English Premier League. The company stated that under this new agreement, its Cross-Border business will act as Everton’s Official Foreign Exchange (FX) Supplier.
The firm stated that the collaboration would allow Everton FC to use Corpay’s Cross-Border solutions to help the club manage foreign exchange exposure tied to its daily business operations. Corpay noted that its services are designed to streamline the club’s financial processes and assist with global payments.
The Partnership Is Set To make Corpay’s Brand Stronger Worldwide
According to Brad Loder, Chief Marketing Officer of Corpay Cross-Border Solutions; this partnership would strengthen Corpay’s brand and business presence worldwide.
He further revealed that this agreement solidifies Corpay’s position as the preferred provider of corporate payments and currency risk management solutions in the Premier League.
Loder also said the company looks forward to working closely with Everton throughout the upcoming season and beyond. The company revealed that payment firms are increasingly securing partnerships with football clubs to handle FX cross-border payments, including player salaries.
Corpay says it has previously formed partnerships with Manchester City, the reigning Premier League champions, according to reports from Finance Magnates. The company also announced that it has partnered with AC Milan, establishing Corpay as the football club’s official commercial FX partner.
Corpay’s Platform Will Help Everton Manage Payments More Easily And Efficiently
Corpay revealed that this collaboration with renowned clubs further highlights its expertise in managing international payments. In addition to managing foreign exchange exposure, it further stated that its platform would offer Everton a centralized system for handling global payments.
The firm explained that this system is expected to simplify the club’s financial operations, improving efficiency. Richard Kenyon, Chief Commercial and Communications Officer at Everton, expressed his gratitude for the union. He said the long-term partnership was developed with support from both the Everton and Corpay teams.
Kenyon also stated that Everton is excited to work alongside Corpay to help the company benefit from global exposure during the club’s final season at Goodison Park and its upcoming move to the new waterfront stadium.
Everton, one of the 12 founding members of the Football League, has spent more seasons in England’s top division than any other club and has won the league title nine times. The club, founded in 1878 as St Domingo, has also lifted the FA Cup five times and claimed the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1985.
Corpay noted that the partnership comes as Everton looks ahead to its historic move to a new 52,888-capacity stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, set to open in 2025. The firm said that Everton remains committed to preserving its traditions while embracing innovation in the modern game.
