OFX takes operations to Germany, Targets The SME Market

Foreign exchange services provider OFX has announced that it has set up a new regional team across several cities in Germany. The firm said the launch aligns with its expansion goals in Europe.
OFX will be offering better support for Germany’s ‘Mittelstand firms, corporations, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It will assist the firms in reducing currency volatility risks and managing overseas earnings.
OFX Wants To Continue Offering Transparent Payment Option
The Sydney-headquartered company already operates in Dubai but also operates in Europe. The firm is coming into the German market with more than 20 years of industry experience.
OFX is already listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). It adheres to over 50 regulators globally and operates on strict regulatory rules within the forex trading market.
OFX EMEA President, Maeve McMahon, commented on the recent expansion to Germany. He said the expansion aligns with the company’s vision of offering a transparent, cost-effective, and secure international payment system for individuals and business organizations in Germany.
He added that the company is looking forward to building stronger ties with its partners and clients in the region. OFX has helped over 1 million customers globally facilitate the transfer of more than €180 billion. The firm offers currency specialists a combination of round-the-clock access and convenience on the digital platform.
OFX stated that the expansion will strengthen its position in Europe’s largest economy, positioning the firm to offer enhanced financial services to the country’s diverse business landscape.
OFX Continues To Expand Its Operations Through Various Partnerships
Germany’s SME sector (also called the Mittelstand sector) forms the major part of the country’s economy. OFX wants to target this sector with enhanced financial services, which will be offered across Germany’s major cities.
Most of the firms within this bracket are usually family-owned or have a corporate structure that depicts a family setting. They always have similar features such as commitment to innovation, strong regional ties, and long-term focus.
Last month, OFX collaborated with The Professional Cricketer’s Association (PCA) to become a partner and sponsor of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) rankings. The company is offering support and expert guidance to the organization on the best way to improve their overseas earnings.
Recently, OFX announced a collaboration with the major organizer of the tennis tour ATP. The partnership means the firm became the official payment partner of the event. The deal will extend until 2027. According to the company, the collaboration will help to increase its brand visibility while offering several global payment solutions to the Tennis Tour organization.
