Santander recently revealed that Zinia, its digital consumer finance platform, is taking over as the primary provider of consumer finance for Apple in Germany.
Zinia will let customers purchasing Apple products in Apple stores or online at Apple.de split the total amount into parts (3, 6, 12, 18, 24, and 36 months). Customers can also choose to wait 30 days after the shipment (online) or pick up in-store before making payments.
Zinia Seeks To Offer Various Financing Solutions To Meet The Needs Of Customers
During the next few months, as part of this new agreement, Apple customers who finance their iPhone purchases with Zinia will have the option to pay in 12 or 24 installments without any interest.
Zinia will give Apple customers a quick, easy, and safe way to finance an iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, iPad, or any other device at the Apple Store online or Apple stores, all in just a few seconds.
To finish a purchase, customers must give their phone number and birth date, verify a security code, and complete a quick validation process by logging into their online banking within the Apple Store. And all of this is backed by the security of a significant financial group like Santander.
Zinia has been in Germany since 2022, offering various financing options (like buy now, pay later, and installments). It will keep growing in Germany and other European countries in the next few months. It hopes to expand to more regions to widen its market share.
