In another recent report published by Time Moneyland, today’s parents can only cover about 16 percent of their kids’ college costs. With a four-year stint at college estimated to cost around US$141,543 in total expenses today — and that number is projected to rise by more than 5 percent every year – it is likely that financial stress will continue to remain a factor in the lives of the average college student.
