International Trade in Services is nearly one quarter of the total trade of goods across the globe. International trade of services is growing with the increase in the import of services by various countries. But still it is not as fast as the import of goods.

As there is no physical movement in the trading of services, i.e. the service being supplied to the end user by the service provider, it is dependent on the place where the service originates and where it is used.
