Horizon Software has announced plans to release an update targeting Horizon Extend, its cross-asset electronic platform. The company is also focused on the growth of the company and adopting effective trading solutions.

Horizon Software issues update for its Extend platform

Horizon Software is a platform that provides access to algorithmic and electronic trading technology solutions. The company has an Extend platform where clients can customize their pricing modules and hedgers. The platform supports automated workflows while creating a transparent and flexible trading experience.

Horizon Software is also tasked with developing advanced routing rules that focus on direct market access. These rules also support clients in managing trading risk and complying with regulatory requirements.

One of the things that Horizon plans to achieve this year is growing its Trading-as-a-Service offering (TasS). Through TasS, Horizon intends to add to the number of covered assets while making handling a high volume of orders easier.

The CTO of the company, Olivier Masdebrieu, commented on the company’s plans for the year, saying that the objective was to come up with a development and trading platform. Such a platform would also enable clients to customize solutions according to their needs.

Masdebrieu also noted that the company was focused on helping its clients come up with the right functions to fit their needs. Its developers had adopted the same set of tools to develop trading solutions for the customers, and the company focused on boosting its offerings.

Horizon Software has achieved significant growth in the recent year. The company provides access to algorithmic trading technologies to over 80 cryptocurrency exchange platforms globally.

One of the efforts being made by Horizon to expand its offering is a partnership with the brokerage division of Santander Bank Polska. The partnership allowed Horizon to explore a new market opened by the first introducing market maker for the Warsaw Stock Exchange ‘Global Connect’ equity market.

The Client Success Manager at Horizon Software, Alexandre Chriqui, commented on this development saying that the Horizon Market Making platform had made it possible for Santander to launch on the Global Connect market without seeking additional effort from the Front Office division.

Chriqui added that the “existing platform composed of Market Data handlers, Pricing and Quoting automatons, WSE Market Gateway and Position Management modules were fully leveraged for a seamless integration with Global Connect.”

Horizon Software is expanding its workforce

Last year, Horizon Software embarked on expanding its workforce. In March 2022, the company hired Fabrice Astrologi as the Global Head of Client Management. Astrologi is a veteran in the industry, where he has worked for more than two decades. He was tasked with helping the firm achieve growth.

During the year, the company promoted Francois-Xavier Detourniere, who currently serves as the Head of Product Management, to boost the company’s offerings within the APAC region. The company also appointed Isabelle Dominion as the Business Development Manager for the EMEA region.
