STRUCTURE OF THE ECONOMY

The services sector has the largest contributions to total GDP followed by industries.
 

Major industries in the country are wood products, textiles, chemicals and electronics.

Important agricultural products in the country are wheat, sugar beets, cattle and sheep.

The following table shows the average annual growth rate of various sectors over the years.

As in 2003, services sector accounted for 65.8 percent of total GDP followed by industries in 31.9 percent. The following table shows the value additions made by different sectors as the percentage of total GDP.
