China’s Central Committee by the assistance of the former Soviet Union made the first automotive production base on July 13,1956. Presently the group is known as the FAW group corporation.

It has its own 27 subsidiaries and controlling interest in 20 partially owned subsidiaries. The products of the company are commercial trucks, buses and coaches, passenger cars, mini vehicles, SUVs, pick-ups and parts.
