Recently mayor of Chicago, Daley has asked business organizations that are an integral part of Chicago economy, to make employees aware of various plans and programs that are being instituted by local government.
These plans are supposed to make sure that economy of Chicago is in good health. He also asked various local political authorities to refrain from making apocalyptic predictions regarding possible future of Chicago’s economy.
He reasons this has an adverse impact on Chicago economic system by way of making consumers spend less money. It is a crucial mistake as it is common knowledge that a sustained amount of money needs to come from consumers so that Chicago economy could get back on its feet yet again.

In yet another worrying news on Chicago economy it has been stated by a bevy of chief executive officers of various major corporate houses in that city have stated that in coming months there would be an increasing number of sackings. It is assumed that this would severely impede whatever chances are there of an economic revival of Chicago.
A few architectural firms in Chicago have also been forced by economic circumstances to lay off workers. Some have been hit so badly that they have had to take away jobs of almost 50 percent of their employees.
However, situation is absolutely different in educational sector where public schools are almost doling out jobs in this present market condition. As of now as many as 500 jobs are on offer in this sector. Already almost 3,000 job hunters have applied for these posts in Chicago, which says a lot about overall economic condition of this state.
