Alberta Treasury Branches is a wholly owned crown corporation of the Province of Alberta, since 1997. Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, it operates as ATB Financial. It is the biggest financial institution in the province in terms of assets. Established in 1938, ATB offers a full range of banking and financial services and products to individual and business clients.[br]
ATB caters to 670,000 customers in Alberta and has over 5,000 employees. It has a network of 164 branches and 133 agencies. It also boasts an extensive network of Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) across Alberta, and Internet and telephone banking options.
