Capital One Classic Card Payment Online: Steps
The steps to making you Capital One Classic card payment online involve logging in to the online “Your Card Account” service. However, you need to first register for the service.
Registration to Your Card Account service involves the following steps:
- Visit the capitalone.co.uk site.
- Click the Register button in the Your Card Account box on the right of the screen.
- Click the Register button.
- Type your card number and name and click the Next button.
- Provide personal information, such as date of birth, card security code and mobile phone number and click the Next button.
- Specify your email address and check the “Please stop sending me paper statements” checkbox.
- Check the “Please keep me informed by email” checkbox if you want to receive information about the bank’s products, services and promotions through email.
- Specify security information, such as your desired password and security question and answer and click the Next button.
- Click the “Return to Sign In” link.
After registering for the online service, you can pay your credit card dues through the online service by using the Pay Bill facility. Through this facility, you can pay your dues through:
- Direct Debit: Allows you to set up direct payment of your bills. This option is preferred for regular monthly bills, such as credit card dues and utility bills.
- Debit Card: Allows you to make ad hoc payments. This option is best suited for irregular payments such as medical bills.
To pay your credit card dues:
- Click the Set up/Amend Direct Debit link.
- Click the Set up Direct Debit link.
- Specify payment details, such as biller name, date of payment and account number.
