As per reports of Iran oil and gas industry, China National Petroleum Corporation, which is a major oil and gas company in China, has inked a deal for developing an Iranian oil field at north Azadegan.

As per predictions of Bank Melli Iran, oil and gas industry of Iran would amount to 15.44 percent of demand for oil in middle east by 2013. This forecast also says that by that time oil and gas industry in Iran would be able to provide 15.17 percent of oil supply coming from middle east region.

As per predictions of Bank Melli Iran, oil and gas industry of Iran would amount to 15.44 percent of demand for oil in middle east by 2013. This forecast also says that by that time oil and gas industry in Iran would be able to provide 15.17 percent of oil supply coming from middle east region.

By 2013 average consumption of oil should become 12.10 million barrels per day in oil and gas industry at Iran. As per this prediction, Iranian oil and gas industry would be able to produce 29.87 million barrels per day by 2013.

As per latest reports from Iran’s oil and gas industry, Gazprom Neft, which is a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas company of Russia Gazprom, has expressed an intention of developing Azadegan oil field, which is located in south of Iran.

In a recent development for Iran oil and gas industry owner of National Iranian Oil Refining & Distribution Company has stated that Iran would be pumping in $27 billion for development of seven new oil refineries in Iran.

As per a deal signed between Malaysia and Iran in December 2008 $14 billion would be put in Iran oil and gas industry by Malaysia. Turkey and Iran signed a Memorandum of Understanding in November 2008 whereby they would, in collaboration, develop Phases 22, 23 and 24 in South Pars gas field. They would also develop plans for transporting natural gas to Europe from Iran and via Turkey.

As per latest reports, Iran oil and gas industry is being forced to reduce its oil production for 2009. In addition to this oil and gas industry in Iran is also facing significant problems that have cropped up from shortage of supply of natural gas in its domestic sector.
