Mega International Commercial Bank is the result of the merger between The International Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and Chiao Tung Bank (CTB) on August 2006. MIBC as on 2008-2009 had almost 5,000 employees working in more than 125 geographically dispersed branches. In addition, there are two wholly-owned bank subsidiaries in Thailand and Canada, along with their branches. The revenue of Mega International Commercial Bank is more than $60 billion.[br]

Mega Financial Holding Company, formerly known as CTB Financial Holding Company, was formed by Chiao Tung Bank Co Ltd and International Securities Co Ltd through the exchange of shares on February 2002. The company is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
