Prepaid credit cards in Pakistan were introduced by to the public United Bank Limited. Known as UBL Wiz, the bank was the first to offer Prepaid VISA cards to its account holders. The card is available in select UBL branches across the nation. Using this card, you can shop and dine, withdraw cash from ATMs, etc., in all VISA locations, both domestically and internationally.[br]
A UBL Wiz card is available to all nationals who hold a valid CNIC. You can hold up to three cards on your CNIC at any time, one of each category, including UBL Wiz Ladies, UBL Wiz Teen and UBL Wiz Travelers. UBL has a network of 336 ATMs in 85 cities, and is a part of the MNET and VISA networks.
Prepaid Credit Card Pakistan: UBL Card Fees
There is a 10% issuance fee for amounts less than PKR10,000. The fee is waived on the purchase of a card of PKR10,000 and above. The transaction fee on any withdrawal on 1LINK ATM or any other switch is PKR15. For VISA charges, withdrawals from ATMs carry a fee of 2% on a minimum withdrawal of PKR200. For any Point of Sale (POS) purchase, the fee is 2% on a minimum purchase of PKR200. In case you are using the internet for transaction, the charges are PKR100 per transaction session.
· Card Limit for UBL Wiz Travelers VISA: The maximum balance per card is PKR200,000 and a maximum of PKR100,000 can be loaded at any given instance. PKR40,000 is the maximum withdrawal limit per day and PKR100,000 is the daily POS usage. PKR100,000 is the maximum limit set for online transactions.[br]
· Card Limits for UBL Wiz Ladies VISA: The maximum balance per card is PKR50,000 and a maximum of PKR25,000 can be loaded at any given instance. PKR20,000 is the maximum withdrawal limit per day and the daily POS usage is PKR50,000. A maximum limit of PKR 25,000 is set for online transactions.
· Card Limits for UBL Wiz Teen VISA: The maximum balance per card is PKR20,000 and a maximum of PKR 10,000 can be loaded at any given instance. The maximum withdrawal limit per day is PKR 20,000 and the daily POS usage is PKR20,000. The maximum limit for online transactions is PKR10,000.
