Canara India Credit Card Payment Online with NEFT

National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) is a part of Canara Bank’s Internet banking facility, enabling the payment of Canara India credit cards from a savings or current account. This account need not be with Canara Bank itself; non-Canara Bank accounts qualify as well, provided they are linked to the NEFT facility. As of December 2007, 82 leading banks in the nation were linked to NEFT.

While initiating an NEFT Transaction towards Canara India credit card dues, the following details need to be furnished:

  • Name and details of the destination bank from which the payment will be debited
  • The destination account or Canara Bank credit card, which is MasterCard or Visa.
  • The number of the destination account, which is the Canara Bank 16 digit credit card number.
  • Transaction Code 52 or the Indian Financial System (IFS) code. This code is provided by Canara Bank and is usually mentioned on the card statement. The IFS code can also be found on the bank’s official website.[br]

Canara Bank India credit card online payment through NEFT is not subject to any maximum or minimum transaction value.

Finally, a Canara Bank credit card holder can also pay his card bills through conventional, offline modes, such as cheque drop-boxes at ATMs and in-person payment at a Canara Bank branch.
