WhiteBIT, a prominent European cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with Payment processing giant Visa. Together, they have introduced a new debit card designed to simplify cryptocurrency transactions and provide rewards for users.
The company said the WhiteBIT Nova card allows European Union residents to spend cryptocurrencies without requiring a deposit, offering up to 10% cashback, a feature available to all cardholders.
WhiteBIT Bridges Crypto And Spending With Nova Card
Volodymyr Nosov, Chief Executive Officer of WhiteBIT, stated that the launch of the WhiteBIT Nova card marks an important milestone in integrating cryptocurrencies into everyday transactions, particularly in Europe.
He emphasized the company’s dedication to advancing blockchain technology and increasing the accessibility of digital assets. Nosov added that the card bridges the gap between digital currencies and traditional spending, enhancing users’ financial experiences.
The WhiteBIT Nova card is issued by Wallester AS, a leading card platform in Europe, which is authorized by the Estonian Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority. According to reports, this Visa-enabled card comes with no fees for opening, closing, or holding it, and users do not need to make an initial deposit to activate it.
This feature allows cardholders to start using the card immediately without any upfront financial commitment. The card is available in both physical and digital forms, and users can choose the version that best suits their needs. The physical card also provides additional spending limits and supports ATM withdrawals, with delivery taking up to 10 business days and a small shipping fee.
Reports indicate that the WhiteBIT Nova card supports a variety of cryptocurrencies, including popular digital assets like USDC, ETH, BTC, and DOGE, giving users flexibility in how they spend their crypto. In addition to its wide cryptocurrency support, the card offers a cashback program available to all cardholders.
WhiteBIT Enhances Crypto Spending With Rewards And Apple Pay Integration
Cashback rewards are paid in BTC or WBT (WhiteBIT Coin) and vary depending on the category of purchase, such as groceries, food, medicine, and subscriptions. Users can also adjust their cashback categories on a daily basis to optimize their rewards.
The card also features a referral program, where users can earn 1 USDC for each friend who registers and activates the card through a referral link, with a maximum bonus of 50 USDC.
Furthermore, the WhiteBIT Nova card integrates with Apple Pay, allowing users to make secure, contactless payments with their cryptocurrency.
