Thoughtworks, a renowned tech company, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have formed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) to help businesses use generative AI (GenAI) and solve tricky problems in Asia Pacific. This teamwork will help companies work better, satisfy customers, and grow their revenue in areas like automotive, energy, financial services, health, and media.

The two firms are working together to let more people use GenAI, a smart computer system that makes jobs easier. As part of this plan, Thoughtworks is sharing Haiven, an AI-powered tool that works with Amazon Bedrock. Haiven is created to simplify hard jobs and help teams finish software projects quickly.

The Collaboration Aims To Help Companies Work Faster And Grow Their Businesses

The company has also been teaching its workers to use AWS AI tools, like Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q. So far, more than 70 workers have been taught, and Thoughtworks wants to teach 200 more next year to form a bigger team of AI experts.

Thoughtworks is also growing its offices in Asia, focusing on helping people in Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam. This will make it easier for businesses there to get help with their AI needs.

To make its tools easier to get, Thoughtworks will soon include its AI solutions on the AWS Marketplace. This teamwork will make GenAI simpler for businesses to use every day.

Andy Nolan, Thoughtworks’ head of emerging technologies in Asia Pacific gave his opinion regarding the alliance. He noted that the partnership with AWS will help create amazing tools for industries, letting companies work faster, come up with new ideas, and stay ahead of others. This is a big step in helping the firm’s clients use AI fully and change how their businesses grow.

AWS’s director of partner sales for Asia Pacific Japan, Corrie Briscoe, talked about how important this partnership is. He noted that AWS Partners are important in helping industries innovate and fix customer problems. He added that the team is happy to work more with Thoughtworks through this new agreement to bring GenAI ideas to life in Asia Pacific and around the world.

The Two Firms Wants To Bring More Benefits Of AI To Businesses Globally

By using AWS’s smart cloud tools, like GenAI, AWS can help customers in different industries, like PEXA Group, build, design, and deliver GenAI tools easily and on a big scale.

PEXA Group, an online property exchange platform, is one of the success stories of the AWS and Thoughtworks partnership. With Thoughtworks’ knowledge, PEXA built a GenAI Assistant on Amazon Bedrock that made answering property questions much faster—from one minute to just five seconds—making workers more productive.

Eglantine Etiemble, the Chief Technology Officer of PEXA, voiced his opinion about the teamwork. He stated that PEXA’s big GenAI dream became a reality because the team mixed the best of what tech can give, with Thoughtworks’ strong knowledge and AWS’s great tools.

He further said it’s good to see Thoughtworks and AWS work together again to create new things and see how much good AI can bring to businesses like PEXA.
