The financial crisis hasn’t escaped the attention of the popular media. And it’s not just documentaries. Take the Will Farrell and Mark Wahlberg cop comedy “The Other Guys.” The movie hinges on a swindle, a ponzi scheme in which an investor tries to rip off the police pension fund to repay bilked investors. The closing credits have some very non-fictional statistics on the state of working and investing America. As a warning, this video opens with an annoying ad for a random movie. You can see the statistical credits with no ads, but after the non-statistical opening credits, at the site of the Picture Mill, the shop behind the credits.
