Tether has appointed former Chief Economist at Chainalysis, Philip Gradwell, as its Economics head. On its website, the company said Gradwell will help the firm understand digital money better and talk more clearly with regulators and stakeholders.
Gradwell has worked at Chainalysis, a company that analyzes blockchain, studying digital assets for more than six years. His background includes researching blockchain, using data science, developing products, and collaborating with regulators.
Gradwell Has Played A Significant Role In Advancing Digital Asset Activity
The Chief Executive Officer of Tether, Paolo Ardoino, expressed his joy by saying the firm is happy to have a new head of Economics. He stated that Philip has experience in digital assets and leadership in Financial analysis, and with these skills, Gradwell will contribute to helping Tether increase the dollar’s value.
Gradwell’s professional journey has involved developing new ways of measuring digital asset activity, which has helped mature the industry. At Tether, he is set to change the understanding of how digital assets are used in everyday economies and how USDT supports the influence of the dollar globally.
Gradwell said he is happy to have helped digital assets grow so Tether now has a real economy to study, with data and skills for analysis. He pointed out how widely Tether is used in digital assets, making it a leader in the future of money, and he wants to use data to show how everyone uses Tether.
His role at the company is to analyze the Tether economy and improve talks with regulatory groups and essential partners. Bringing him on board will allow them to understand better how digital assets are used and strengthen their standing in the industry.
