Tastytrade and LiteFinance, two brokerage businesses offering retail forex and contracts for difference (CFD) products, have released new updates on their brokerage businesses. Tastytrade released an application programming interface (API), while LiteFinance released an upgrade for its mobile trading application for iOS devices.
Tastytrade and LiteFinance unveil new updates
Tastytrade and LiteFinance are brokerage platforms offering trading solutions to retail traders. The platforms have released new updates to improve the experience that traders have on the platform.
Tastytrade has released an API labeled “Tastytrade-API.” This API will allow users on this retail trading platform to create software applications that can interact with accounts on Tastytrade. These applications can also analyze the market data and link to other applications and services, improving the experience that users have on the platform.
The retail FX and CFD brokerage platform added that it offers a sandbox ecosystem that can be used to test all the strategies and applications before they can be used for live trading by customers. Moreover, customers can also create their trading platforms and access market data.
“Tastytrade offers a fully functional sandbox environment to test out all strategies and applications before customers use their live accounts, as well as a software development kit with sample code to get customers started with building their own trading platforms and retrieving market data,” a statement by Tastytrade said.
LiteFinance has also announced updates to its operations. The company has said that the new version of its application targeting the Apple App Store provides a wide range of features. These features include access to more than 190 trading instruments, a copy trading platform, professional market analysis, and 75 in-built indicators.
The newly updated iOS application by LiteFinance also comes with over 100 graphical analysis tools. It also provides trading and withdrawal services in one click for transactions involving up to $3,000.
LiteFinance said that its development team had significantly improved the app’s performance, and it was now offering services at a more stable and faster rate. The company further mentioned the benefits that came with customers using the upgraded version of the app, saying that it came with many new instruments that traders could now make trading decisions on using an extensive list of technical indicators and graphical analysis tools.
Tastytrade rebrands from Tastyworks
Tastytrade introduced a new API shortly after it announced its rebranding from Tastyworks to Tastytrade. The new name used by the company has taken on the old name previously used by the Tastylive online financial network. Before December last year, Tastylive was known as Tastytrade before rebranding to its current name.
Tastylive and Tastytrade are two platforms that are part of the IG Group. IG Group is a spread betting and CFD trading provider whose headquarters are based in London. The Tastytrade platform offers traders access to various financial instruments such as options, futures, and options.
LiteFinance also rebranded in 2021. The company was previously known as LiteForex before rebranding. It gives its clients access to financial instruments such as forex and CFDs on commodities, cryptocurrencies, stocks, and indices.
