South Carolina Population

Tourism, especially of the Outer Banks area, accounts for a significant amount of South Carolina’s annual economy. South Carolina has its fair share of amusement parks and entertainment venues as well as state parks and lake areas perfect for fishing, camping, canoeing and riding horses. And although there is no legalized betting in the state, South Carolina is proud of its thoroughbred horses and conducts races at several locations around the state. The northern part of the state is more mountainous and even offers a waterfall or two to make the scenery even more spectacular.
