Valverde Investment Partners, an investment company that was recently established, has chosen Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR) to upgrade its technology infrastructure. The Singapore-based firm wants to take advantage of the increasing focus on Southeast Asian markets

The alliance will improve Valverde’s systems for managing portfolios, handling trade orders, and analyzing risks. This is happening as the company starts a new fund and looks to grow bigger because more people want to invest in ASEAN products.

Valverde Has Rolled Out The ASEAN+ Fund

The Founder and Chief Information Officer, of Valverde, John Foo gave his opinion concerning the partnership. He said ASEAN is being acknowledged more and more as an independent investment asset. He added that solid operational technology is vital to ensuring the firm can provide its cutting-edge strategies for years ahead.

Valverde has debuted its ASEAN+ Fund, organized as a Singapore Variable Capital Company. The goal of the fund is to deliver long-term absolute profits, largely by investing in publicly traded stocks in Southeast Asian markets.

The Chief of APAC Asset Management at Broadridge, Wout Kalis stated that the firm is excited to optimize Valverde’s portfolio and trade order management systems. He added that the team is happy to be involved in Valverde’s progress and innovation as it caters to the ASEAN investment market

Broadridge’s SaaS-based platform helps with managing orders, risks, and portfolios, for both private and public markets. The platform assists in handling many kinds of investments, even complicated ones.

Robertshaw Aims To Enhance Broadridge’s Trading Technology

Broadridge has made important changes to boost its global operations by announcing new leadership and partnerships. Simon Robertshaw is the new Chief Technology Officer for Trading Solutions in London. His job is to enhance Broadridge’s trading technology for different types of assets and markets.

Robertshaw said he is excited to share that he is now the Chief Technology Officer for Trading Solutions at Broadridge. David Runacres is now the President of the Asia-Pacific region and is based in Tokyo. As the new Senior Country Officer for Japan, Runacres will be important for Broadridge’s growth plan in the region.

Runacres said he plans to make Broadridge stronger in the market and provide great value to clients. He added that, together, he and his team will build on Broadridge’s solid base in the Asia-Pacific region as a trusted tech partner to lead the next stage of success and help clients innovate.

Broadridge has added YourStake’s Values Questionnaire to its Wealth Aggregation and Insights platform. This change helps financial advisors match client portfolios with their values and provides data-driven insights based on what investors prefer.

The company has also added Transaction Network Services (TNS) connections to its global Futures and Options (F&O) Software-as-a-Service platform. This update is meant to make managing market data easier and lower operational risks for clients in the derivatives market.
