Lightchain Protocol AI, an Ethereum-compatible Layer-1 blockchain designed specifically for decentralized artificial intelligence, has officially launched its Developer Grant Program. The initiative aims to attract experienced developers, innovative startups, and ecosystem builders by offering grants ranging from $25,000 to $150,000.
🚨 Update From the Core Team 🚨
To deliver a more powerful and developer-ready blockchain, we're officially moving the Lightchain Mainnet Launch to July 2025.

This program supports teams building AI-native decentralized applications (dApps), zero-knowledge machine learning (zkML) solutions, and autonomous agents on Lightchain’s AI-powered blockchain infrastructure.
Grant Program Designed to Accelerate Decentralized AI Development on Lightchain
However, the launch of the Developer Grant Program is an important step toward encouraging new ideas in the decentralized AI space. Lightchain Protocol AI introduces its special AI Virtual Machine (AIVM), which is a privacy-focused and Ethereum-compatible system. It is designed to support secure AI processing, collaborative machine learning (federated learning), and the coordination of smart AI agents.
This program offers generous funding and expert help to developers, especially those who have worked with other blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, or Cosmos. It encourages them to move or develop their AI projects directly on the Lightchain platform.
In fact, the key team member from Lightchain highlighted that the program is not only about financial support but also about bringing AI and blockchain together to help developers build the future of decentralized AI.
Comprehensive Benefits and Support for Grant Recipients
Moreover, successful applicants will receive grants ranging from $25,000 to $150,000. They will also get early access to Lightchain’s software development kits (SDKs), application programming interfaces (APIs), and integration tools. The program offers technical help for deploying projects on both Lightchain’s testnet and mainnet.
In addition, developers gain public exposure through marketing campaigns and have priority access to upcoming events such as hackathons, venture capital showcases, and token reward programs.
Specifically, Lightchain is looking for projects that make full use of its AI features. This includes AI-focused decentralized apps (dApps) that use on-chain AI processing, combine models, or manage autonomous agents. They are also interested in zero-knowledge machine learning (zkML) systems and trusted ways to evaluate AI models.
Other key areas include decentralized data marketplaces, tools for verifying synthetic data, oracles, and distributed computing networks.
In addition, Lightchain supports AI-enhanced Web3 infrastructure such as indexing services and decentralized user interfaces. They also welcome projects in AI-powered decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) that use agent behaviors, prediction models, or reputation systems.

Whether it’s an autonomous trading bot, an AI assistant, or a zk-powered federated learning system, the grant program aims to back innovative developers building the future of decentralized AI.
Lightchain Positions Itself as a Backbone for the Decentralized AI Economy
According to a spokesperson, Lightchain aims to become the foundation for decentralized AI. They want to give developers everything they need—from funding to technical tools—so they can create innovative AI projects on a blockchain built to handle the complex computing and coordination AI requires.
With the grant program now open to everyone, Lightchain Protocol AI is ready to speed up the growth and use of advanced decentralized AI applications on its Layer-1 blockchain. This could help bring new, powerful AI solutions to the blockchain world faster than before.
